Musical Hugs – Whenever You Need Them!

Musical Hugs – Whenever You Need Them!

🎵 Feeling a little out of step with the world? Music has a way of wrapping around our hearts and reminding us of who we really are.

Here are a few snippets of some songs that help me reconnect when I need it most:

✨ “I’m on the right track, baby, I was born this way.” – Lady Gaga
✨ “This is me.” – Keala Settle
✨ “There is a crack in everything—That’s how the light gets in.” – Leonard Cohen
✨ “Don’t lose your individuality.” – Area 7
✨ “True colors are beautiful, like a rainbow.” – Cyndi Lauper
✨ “Don’t lose who you are in the blur of the stars.” – Jessie J

Let these words lift you up. Being different isn’t a flaw—it’s your magic. 💛

💬 Do you have a song that brings you back to yourself? I’d love to know.

Let’s Do Our Bit to Support People with Blood Cancer (ie Leukaemia)

Let’s Do Our Bit to Support People with Blood Cancer (ie Leukaemia)

With over 150,000 Australians facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 losing their life every single day…

I wanted to offer my support!

And I am lucky to be able to do this in two ways.

1) My hair has gotten so long that it should be enough to make 2 wigs! So I am cutting my hair and donating it for this purpose… the big day is 30th April.

2) I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave so that you can donate to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Please know that any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

A World That Works for Everyone

A World That Works for Everyone

Neurodiversity Celebration Week isn’t just about recognising differences – it’s about creating a world where everyone can thrive.

That means:

🌍 Designing spaces that support different sensory needs.

🗣 Valuing different ways of thinking and communicating.

💙 Making inclusion more than just a word—but a way of being.

Imagine what’s possible when everyone is truly seen and supported. Let’s work towards that together. 💛

The Power of Embracing Your Needs

The Power of Embracing Your Needs

Celebrating neurodiversity also means honouring your needs.

🌱 Need quiet spaces to focus? That’s valid.

🎧 Prefer stimming or movement to stay regulated? That’s valid.

💡 Process information differently? That’s valid.

You don’t have to fit into someone else’s mould. This week, make that every week, give yourself permission to lean into what works for you—without apology.

💛 What’s one way you can honour your needs today?

Celebrating Neurodiversity

Celebrating Neurodiversity

It’s Neurodiversity Celebration Week—a time to honour the many ways our minds work! 🌟

Neurodiversity isn’t just about labels—it’s about recognising that thinking differently is valuable.

Some of us process the world through patterns, others through emotions, movement, or deep focus.

This week, let’s celebrate what makes us different—because those differences are strengths.

🔗 There are a host of great events that you can take part in. Check them out here.

✨ What’s something unique about the way your mind works that you appreciate? Share in the comments! 💛
